The coordinator of our entrepreneurial initiative, Miguel Muñoz, visits London from 1th to 8th December 2018

The coordinator of the entrepreneurial initiative “Playa Paraíso Technological Park”, Miguel  Muñoz, will go for a trip to London soon, from 1st to 8th December 2018, with the aim of establishing contact with investment groups and making cultural visits in the capital of the UK. Besides, he will take advantage of this trip for delivering information about our current entrepreneurial initiatives, as a marketing strategy, to companies and institutions such as the headquarters of the Coram Clairfield consulting firm in the UK, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

In this visit to London, Miguel Muñoz will be accompanied by the consultant Carlos Barre’s, if his schedule allows it, as a supporter of the marketing strategy and excellent contributor of our current entrepreneurial initiatives. This consultant has a broad experience in the real state market and manages the firm Barre’s Property Trading, dedicated to buy and sell luxury properties. At the same time, we rely on the support of the lawyer and contributor Ramiro Rosón for this marketing strategy, in his role of coordinator’s secretary. During his stay in this city, Miguel Muñoz will lodge in the United Lodge and Apartments Hotel (368-370 Green Lanes, London, N4 1 DA). From our entrepreneurial initiative, we want to show three business lines:

1. Designing a mockup for the entrepreneurial initiative “Playa Paraíso Technological Park”, by the architect Alejandro Díez Martín, who currently develops his professional activity in the design and architecture department of the Mercadona group.

2. Fostering nautical tourism, both in his scientific and sport aspect, in the zone of Playa Paraíso, specifically in the vicinity of Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, creating a future marina and including a sea research center. This center would allow to get the support of universities and the colaboration of other marine research centers worldwide, in order to develop different public-private activities on a sustainable basis and with a positive influence on the control and protection of marine ecosystems. In this initiative, the coordinator, Miguel Muñoz, has appointed Jerónimo Padrón López as head architect, who our work team has held different meetings with, such as the one which took place in Los Cristianos the 24th April 2018.

Besides this, we want to highlight that the ambassador of the UK in Spain, Simon J. Manley, has proposed to negotiate the creation of a free-trade zone between the region of Canary Islands and the UK when Brexit becomes a reality. This free-trade zone would allow to preserve the close relationship between both territories, avoiding visas and extra charges for airlines. In this sense, there is no doubt about that Canary Islands keep an excellent relationship with the UK, for historical and economic reasons, because the UK has traditionally been one of the most attractive markets for exports of Canary products, and, at the same time, Canary Islands have been one of the most attractive destinations for British tourism. For this reason, we are sure that, after Brexit, Canary Islands will not lose the attendance of visitors from British community and commercial and business relationships between both territories will carry on developing as always.
