From our business initiatives, we are pleased to inform our sponsors and followers that we have opened a third way to get funding through crowdfunding, through the well-known platform GoFundMe, used by individuals and entities around the world to support their projects. In this link, you can get all the information to make donations for our project “Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso” and for creating a future marina and a marine research center near the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
We are also exploring other avenues of support through the Universo Crowdfunding platform, with which several universities and other educational centers in Spain collaborate to finance projects related to research, development and innovation. We can find an example of how Universo Crowdfunding works in the project “A Canarian robot in Arkansas”. This initiative arises from a group of students from I.E.S. Luis Cobiella Cuevas (La Palma) and comprises creating a robot with Lego pieces which can compete in the international tournament of the First Lego League (FLL) in Arkansas (United States), as well as an augmented reality application that facilitates the learning of the subject of History.
