The Candelaria Technology Centre, a model for our initiatives

From our business initiatives, we would like to highlight an example of a technology hub on the island of Tenerife: the Candelaria Technology Centre (CTcan), which has a business incubator, offering offices for companies linked to the concepts of R&D&I (research, development and technological innovation). The creation of this centre, which opened its doors in 2017, corresponds to the lines of action of the Employment and Local Development Agency of the Candelaria Town Council, which aims to promote entrepreneurship through training and advice aimed at entrepreneurs and workers.

Considering the good results got with this project in the municipality of Candelaria, we believe we could implement a similar model of technology centre without problems in Playa Paraíso (Adeje), integrating it into our initiative “Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso”. At present, we are in the phase of elaborating the model in which we will describe visually the various facilities of this initiative. In this way, “Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso” will focus on topics such as the water cycle, the use of renewable energy sources and sustainable agriculture.

El Centro Tecnológico de Candelaria, un modelo para nuestras iniciativas

Desde nuestras iniciativas empresariales, queremos destacar un ejemplo de polo tecnológico en la isla de Tenerife: se trata del Centro Tecnológico de Candelaria (CTcan), que cuenta con un vivero de empresas, ofreciendo oficinas para compañías vinculadas con los conceptos del I+D+i (investigación, desarrollo e innovación tecnológica). La creación de este centro, que abrió sus puertas en 2017, se corresponde con las líneas de actuación de la Agencia de Empleo y Desarrollo Local del Ayuntamiento de Candelaria, que pretende fomentar el emprendimiento a través de la formación y el asesoramiento dirigido a empresarios y trabajadores.

Considerando los buenos resultados que se han obtenido con este proyecto en el municipio de Candelaria, entendemos que un modelo semejante de centro tecnológico podría implantarse sin problemas en el área de Playa Paraíso (Adeje), integrándolo en nuestra iniciativa "Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso". En la actualidad, nos encontramos en la fase de elaboración de la maqueta en la que se diseñarán los diversos dotacionales de esta iniciativa. De este modo, "Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso" se centrará en temas como el ciclo del agua, el uso de las fuentes de energía renovables y la agricultura sostenible.

Our three crowdfunding lines

From our business initiatives, we have opened three crowdfunding lines for our two projects: the initiative “Playa Paraíso Technological Park” and the project to create a future sports marina and a sea research centre in the vicinities of the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife (Playa Paraíso, Adeje). From this date onwards, we will publish on our blog a monthly summary of the proceeds obtained through crowdfunding to draft and present the models of our initiatives.

It should be noted that, in December 2018, the coordinator of our business initiatives, Miguel Muñoz, visited the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the dissemination of our projects in one of the main financial and business centres in the world. Once again, we would like to thank the attention given by this financial institution on that visit to the British capital and remind our followers that, once we have achieved our crowdfunding objectives, we will make a second trip to London to present our initiatives to groups of investors established in this city.

Nuestras tres líneas de crowdfunding

Desde nuestras iniciativas empresariales, hemos abierto tres líneas de crowdfunding para nuestros dos proyectos: la iniciativa “Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso” y el proyecto para crear una futura marina deportiva y un centro de investigación del mar en las proximidades del Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife (Playa Paraíso, Adeje). A partir de esta fecha en adelante, publicaremos en nuestro blog un resumen mensual de los ingresos obtenidos a través de crowdfunding para redactar y presentar las maquetas de nuestras iniciativas.

Cabe destacar que, en diciembre de 2018, el coordinador de nuestras iniciativas empresariales, Miguel Muñoz, visitó la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Londres, para la divulgación de nuestros proyectos en uno de los principales centros financieros y de negocios del mundo. Una vez más, queremos agradecer la atención prestada por esta institución financiera en aquella visita a la capital británica y recordar a nuestros seguidores que, una vez conseguidos nuestros objetivos en materia de crowdfunding, realizaremos un segundo viaje a Londres para presentar nuestras iniciativas ante grupos inversores establecidos en esta ciudad.
