Agoney Melián, president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) of the Canary Islands, analyses self-employment and its problems

From our business initiatives, we would like to share the interview conducted by El Día with Agoney Melián, president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) of the Canary Islands, which analyses entrepreneurship and its current problems. Among other issues, the interview addresses topics such as the relationship between the cost of housing and wages, the need to enact a law to support young entrepreneurs, the lack of staff, the reduction of working hours or absenteeism in companies, with a practical and dialoguing approach, focused on the balance between the rights of employers and workers.

We thank Agoney Melián for his contributions to the debate on the current situation of the Canarian economy and wish him every success in his mandate as president of the AJE.
