On 7 November, the coordinator of our business initiatives, Miguel Muñoz, attended the fourth conference of the XVII Tenerife Mountain Week, organised by the Island Mountaineering Federation and held at the Exconvento de Santo Domingo, a cultural centre belonging to the City Council of La Laguna, from 4 to 8 November 2024. In these conferences, various topics related to sport and outdoor recreational activities were discussed, as well as the impact of climate change on the Canarian ecosystems and the carrying capacity of the archipelago as a tourist destination.
From our business initiatives, we would like to congratulate the Federación Insular de Montañismo and its speakers for their work in defence of the respectful use of protected natural spaces. We believe that this type of activity is fundamental for the evolution of Tenerife and the whole of the Canary Islands towards a sustainable tourist destination.
