Among the most significant initiatives planned for this area is Marina Playa Paraíso, a project conceived as a key piece of infrastructure for the maritime, tourism, and technological development of the zone. The project has its own informational blog and publishes content in both Spanish and English, which strengthens its international profile.
Likewise, in 2017 a proposal was presented for the creation of a pier in Playa Paraíso, which represents a direct precedent for the current vision of the project’s marina.
Fieldwork: Las Cancelas estate and the pond
During the visit on February 12, our coordinator, Miguel Muñoz, documented the current condition of the pond and the Las Cancelas estate following the recent rainfall in Tenerife during December 2025 and January 2026. The photographs show alterations such as perimeter fencing, and changes have been recorded in the cadastral status of certain plots, highlighting the need for technical and environmental monitoring of the site. All these observations will be incorporated into the project’s territorial planning reports.
Social recognition and cultural environment
Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso maintains links with various commercial spaces in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Laguna, and Adeje, among others, where the calendar has been distributed as a visibility tool. In addition, it should be recalled that Playa Paraíso was recognized as the best micro-tourism destination in Tenerife in 2021, a fact that reinforces the strategic potential of the area.
Social media and digital outreach
The project consolidates its presence on social media through the following platforms:

– Instagram account.
– QR code providing direct access to the blog to facilitate dissemination via WhatsApp and other channels.
This strategy allows quick access to institutional information and to the project’s publications.
