The premiere of “Rambo: Last Blood” comes to Tenerife

The Sunday 29th September 2019, the coordinator of our entrepreneurial initiatives, Miguel Muñoz, had the opportunity to watch at Multicines Alcampo (La Laguna, Tenerife) the film Rambo: Last Blood, the last sequel of the film saga starring Sylvester Stallone, which was released worldwide the 20th of this month.

In this sense, we want to highlight not only the great picture quality of this film, but also the fact that some scenes have been recorded in the island of Tenerife, in locations such as Santa Cruz de Tenerife (especially, in the quarters of La Salud, La Alegría, San Matías and Taco), Santa Úrsula, El Rosario, Puerto de la Cruz and the national park of Las Cañadas del Teide. Therefore, this film shooting contributes to consolidate Tenerife as a destiny for recording full-lenght films made by big production companies. In this way, they want to keep promoting Tenerife as a cinema destination, as they have begun to do with full-lenght films such as the Fast & Furious saga or Clash of the Titans, which have reached a great commercial success.

From our entrepreneurial initiatives, we want to congratulate the four production companies which have recorded this film (Lions Gate Entertainment, Millennium Films, Campbell-Grobman Films and Balboa Productions) and bet for the island of Tenerife as an open air set. To sum up, it is about promoting the local economy and advertising Tenerife as a touristic destination worldwide, thanks to the advantages which provides the Economic and Tax Regulation of Canary Islands in order to record films in the archipelago.

After finishing our work, the coordinator, Miguel Muñoz, and the lawyer and contributor Ramiro Rosón enjoyed a beer at Manibar, a pub located in the nightlife zone of La Laguna.
