From 1th to 8th December 2018, the coordinator of the “Playa Paraíso 2010-Adeje Technological Park” platform, Miguel Muñoz, went in a trip to London in order to publicise the entrepreneurial initiatives which we intend to develop in the area of Playa Paraíso, located in the municipality of Adeje (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain). Our marketing strategy, based on the internationalisation of our proposals, pursues the objective of presenting ourselves in Europe and worldwide.
In this sense, the city of London constitutes a centre of culture, history and leisure, as well as a first-class financial centre, which has become the core of big economic activities. During his stay in this city, Miguel Muñoz developed a large schedule of cultural visits and visits to different financial corporations, as a part of the advertising strategy of our initiatives. For lodging in the city, he chose the United Lodge Hotel and Apartments. This hotel stands out for the excellent attention of his staff and its good connectivity, because its guests can move without any problem by bus from there to the centre of London.

This schedule of visits finalized the 7th December with Miguel Muñoz’s visit to the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the aim of exposing and presenting the entrepreneurial initiatives which we are developing from the “Playa Paraíso 2010-Adeje Technological Park” platform. In a rough time of 25 minutes, the coordinator exposed the three initiatives which we are promoting for the representatives of this financial corporation:
1. The “Playa Paraíso 2010-Adeje Technological Park” initiative. Nowadays, our work team Is managing the future presentation of a 3D mockup, designed by the architect Alejandro Díez Martín, who is currently working in Barcelona for the architectural department of the Mercadona group. Our idea consists in organising a presentation in 3D, exposing the distribution of public facilities in the initiative, for investment groups and public authorities in charge of urban planning in Canary Islands. Therefore, we intend to expose in a simple way the package of actions which this initiative implies, as a stage previous to the realisation of viability studies.
2. The future leisure port which we intend to build in the vicinities of the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife, including a marine research centre. In this sense, the coordinator is scheduling a meeting with the hotel managers of Playa Paraíso, in order to introduce them the architect Jerónimo Padrón López and obtain his support through a sponsorship formula and a crowdfunding campaign. When we overcome this stage, we would move to the financial centre of London again, in order to search for investment groups, establishing a commitment between the coordinator, the architect Jerónimo Padrón and the consultant Carlos Barre’s for the intermediation in this search. This proposal specially attracted the interest of the representatives of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who deemed it an excellent commercial strategy because of its high potential and viability.
3. The support for selling the patent of the inventor Carlos Martínez. This initiative is being managed by Miguel Muñoz and the lawyer Ramiro Rosón, by means of a mandate agreement which appoints them Carlos Martínez’s representatives. Besides, an exclusivity agreement has been signed with the Premark consulting firm in order to make the commercialisation of this patent easier.
Regarding to academic institutions, Miguel Muñoz had planned to visit some UK universities during this trip to London, but he had to postpone these visits to another trip due to schedule problems.
