The European University of the Canary Islands (UEC) has achieved third place in the Young Entrepreneurial University 2024 category and has been ranked in the top five in Student-Led Impact Initiative at the Triple E Awards. The awards, presented by the Accrediting Council for Enterprising and Engaged Universities (ACEEU), recognise the positive impact of higher education on entrepreneurship and economic and social development.
The awards ceremony was held at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In addition to the rector Cristiana Oliveira, the vice-dean of the School of Architecture, Juan Diego López Arquillo, and the young finalist students attended the event.
From our business initiatives, we congratulate the UEC and its rector, Cristiana Oliveira, for the academic excellence achieved by this institution of higher education, which has merited these awards.
