Microplastics Adrift: Impact on Terrestrial and Marine Ecosystems in the Canary Islands

On March 13, the conference "Microplastics Adrift: Impact on Terrestrial and Marine Ecosystems in the Canary Islands" was held, organized by the Sustainable Foundation of Santa Cruz de Tenerife at the Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA). This event, of great relevance in the environmental field, featured the participation of prominent speakers specializing in the issue of microplastics and their effects on ecosystems.

During the event, our coordinator, Miguel Muñoz, had the opportunity to establish contact with the speakers and share initiatives developed in Playa Paraíso (Adeje) related to water use and its integral cycle. This space for dialogue allowed for the exchange of ideas and the strengthening of collaboration networks in the fields of sustainability and efficient resource management.

Furthermore, the editorial team continues to make progress in organizing the second dissemination conference, in which the lead architects will present two 3D models. These will be displayed simultaneously, live, and via streaming, thus facilitating access and the dissemination of these important projects.

We will continue to provide updates on these developments in future publications.

The Coordinator,

Miguel Muñoz
