On Thursday 4 April 2024, the coordinator of our business initiatives, Miguel Muñoz, visited the coastal area of Playa Paraíso (Adeje, Tenerife) to hand out copies of our 2024 calendar and to explain our two ongoing projects to the hotels in the area: the "Parque Tecnológico Playa Paraíso" complex, located in the surroundings of the Las Cancelas estate, and the creation of a future sports marina, with a marine research centre, in the vicinity of the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
In this regard, it was explained to the hoteliers of Playa Paraíso that two options are being studied to house the sports marina: in front of the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife or in front of the Hotel Bahía Príncipe. The location finally chosen will depend on various factors and will be determined by the architect proposed for the drafting of this initiative, Jerónimo Padrón. A third option would be to consider a lower impact alternative, while preserving the ultimate aim of the intervention (to start up a port and fishing activity, generating added value with a marine research centre in the Playa Paraíso area). In the event that the Directorate General of Coasts does not authorise a large-scale project, this plan B would speed up the processing of the corresponding urban development dossier.
The coordinator started his departure from the campus of the University of La Laguna, bound for Playa Paraíso, and visited the following hotels, as well as restaurants and other service sector companies established in this coastal area:
-Hotel H10
-Hotel Roca Nivaria GH
-Hotel Bahía Príncipe
-Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife
In La Laguna, 29 April 2023.
The coordinator,
Miguel Muñoz
