From the Playa Paraíso 2010-Adeje Technology Park, we continue developing one of the strategic lines of our roadmap ahead of the presentation of our second outreach conference: the incorporation of university and Vocational Training students into our editorial team. With this goal, in 2024 we held the 9th and 10th editions of our Meeting with University and Vocational Training Students, which took place on October 18 and 24 on the terrace of the Hotel Laguna Nivaria, at six in the evening. This initiative seeks to open spaces for genuine collaboration between our two ongoing business initiatives and those currently training in the classroom.
The purpose of these meetings is to attract students interested in taking part, under an internship arrangement, in supporting our editorial team during the preparation of the upcoming outreach conference. We are looking for both university and Vocational Training profiles, with particular interest in the fields of Law, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Architecture, Tourism, Business Administration, Geography, Economics, and Sociology, as well as, from Vocational Training, Digital Marketing and Social Media, IT and 3D design, and gardening and floristry, among other disciplines that may add value to our project.
For those who express interest in joining, we will put together a contact list with basic information — phone number, email address, and a brief summary of their field of study and the institution where they are completing their studies — in order to progressively bring together the different profiles according to the content presented in each initiative. This line of collaboration has already been reflected in several posts on our blog, where we describe both our commitment to integrating students into entrepreneurship projects and the successive meetings held with students interested in participating.
Through these editions, the Playa Paraíso 2010-Adeje Technology Park has reaffirmed its commitment to hands-on training and knowledge transfer between academia and the business sector. We therefore encourage all university and Vocational Training students who want to take their first steps in a real innovation project with international reach to join our internship program: this is an opportunity to contribute your talent, gain direct experience alongside our editorial team, and take an active part in the upcoming outreach conference.
